Poetry Friday: On the Spot Haiku, Melting

Oh! I don't feel so sad this morning. But this is what popped out as I sat down by the window and saw all the snow melting.

Poetry Friday

Melting

Snow melts, drip, drop, drip
Gushing into the gutters
Like holiday hopes.

  1. Lori, I feel the same way about the snow melting. Caused havoc but so sad to see it go.

  4. This is lovely!

Sometimes the poems in my poetry diary come out with a strong emotion I don't even feel--or at least don't realize I feel!
