and how I often end up needing a cane on extended trips. I was lamenting that my old standby just didn't have much personality. So, she special ordered this one from England for me from Fashionable Canes!
It is so cute! I LOVE IT! I'll be sporting it in Texas!
Here's a shout out to her, so thoughtful, generous, and supportive. Thank you! *do a little dance with a frog*
It makes me sad to think of you sometimes needing a cane, but so happy to know that you embrace this with elan, and that, indeed, you will turn heads for all the right reasons in Texas.
ReplyDeleteI wish you didn't need it, that's for certain, but I love the look of that froggie and I know he'll bring you smiles, if not luck. Be well and be strong. :)
ReplyDeleteDid you ever watch the TV series The Dead Zone? (It was based on the book, which I haven't read. It inspired a movie I didn't like very much, but I loved loved loved the TV show.) In any event, Johnny's cane was distinctive as well. For him, it was a lion. :)
Someone who gets it. Such a gift Carol gave in more ways then one. Love it.
