Poetry Friday: Glacier

Glacier

A frozen blue river
stiff with cold,
crunches forward,
tears into mountains,
swallows the earth,
leaves rumbling round rocks,
in a wide, smooth bed,
to trickle into a green river
and cool my toes.

Poetry Friday: Kato's Question

How can you doubt me,
inquiring with a tilt, and
brown, soft innocence?

one who missed my love for life,
just one glance, Senor.

Poetry Friday: Poised

Poised between the arched
claw of the future and the
shadow of the past.
