Poetry Friday: September October

September October

In two months, I have
seen contained color explode,
falling fireworks.

Lorie Ann Grover, 2012

This tree is what I see from my bedroom window. It has been glorious autumn for me!

  5. And suddenly...the color is gone and the leaves are down.

But it was a glorious fall, wasn't it? We were worried there would be no color because of the drought, but so many trees (like yours) shone with an inner light.

I think I'll go back to my photos of fall color and see what poems I can come up with!
