Life
Slipping, blurred shapes rush
past, ruffling my eyelashes
faster than I blink.
Lorie Ann Grover, 2014
This is a photo of the gorgeous Palouse in Washington state. The hills roll and fold and curl. Driving past them is like watching a pulsing sculpture.
In my geology class at the University of Washington we studied the flood that created those rippling hills of the Palouse, Lorie - they're beautiful from the sky, too. Thanks for your Poetry Friday contribution. I'll post it in a bit.
ReplyDeleteLove your poem, and also "pulsing sculpture."
