Poetry Friday: A Flowered Conjunction

A Flowered Conjunction

A universe of
bopping spheres and pulsed patterns
blasts into my own.

Lorie Ann Grover, 2014

I happened upon this flower early one morning in Phoenix. The color is not altered.

  1. Wow, the colors in your photo vibrate and shimmer. Phrases like "bopping spheres" and "pulsed patterns" are perfect! Nice!

  2. This is just to say that I have been here and read your words, but surgery on both thumbs last Tuesday prevents me from typing a personalized comment. Forgive me -- copy/paste is the best I can do this week! :-)

  5. I love this, Lorie Ann-- both the photo and the haiku. Your universe metaphor is spot on and I love the vibrancy and electricity of that second line-- physics at play!
