Kirkus Starred Review, Firstborn: "A fantasy that reads like a lost history tome and deftly examines issues of gender...An engrossing story with welcome depths."
Hi, Lorie Ann. I appreciate the poem and your photo. At a writing retreat last month, we saw the full moon with a *huge* halo of light -- hard to capture with a camera or even with words. Beautiful!
I have a moon poem in this week's roundup too! I love how it can inspire such a huge spectrum of thoughts and forms and words - ah, the seductive moon.
The photo and poem are lovely, and what an evocative title. :)

Was this the "mega moon" coming up last summer? I have some great shots of "Cratered Hope" rising, too!
Hope does RISE, doesn't it!!

Thanks for the sweet words! It was last summer, actually.
Hope does rise, by grace! And can't wait to see how the moon inspired you, Renee.
Thanks again!
