A Dedication!

My longtime critique partner and fellow cofounder of readertotz dedicated her Who was Jim Henson book to meeeeeee! I do heart all things Jim, and I always have a Sesame Street video linked on totz, so this is sweet!

I loved the text and learned much. How cool to see providence unfold in Jim's life to create a body of work that touches so many. Thank you, Joan! I am honored. :~)

I have to say, I do love my last name...

Poetry Friday: Don't Push a Poppy

Push my button and
these orange petals will flare wide,
blasting my shrill thoughts.

Poetry Friday: Winged Wish

On the curl of your thought
my wish reads the beat of yours
and wings to grant it.

Poetry Friday: Saturated

Globes plump yellow as
membranes palm celestial
light, quivering veins.
