Poetry Friday: On the Spot Haiku, Melting

Oh! I don't feel so sad this morning. But this is what popped out as I sat down by the window and saw all the snow melting.

Poetry Friday

Melting

Snow melts, drip, drop, drip
Gushing into the gutters
Like holiday hopes.

Lori, I feel the same way about the snow melting. Caused havoc but so sad to see it go.

Poignant and evokes emotions I've felt--but didn't realize I felt till reading this--about holiday snow. Thanks for sharing this one.

This is lovely!

Sometimes the poems in my poetry diary come out with a strong emotion I don't even feel--or at least don't realize I feel!
