Poetry Friday: Plumeria

Plumeria

In my memory,
the scent swirls around the curl
of our shared laughter.

What a memorable haiku.
I love this. I can almost smell the heady scent of tropical adventures and hear the ocean waves.

These flowers are so ornate that they almost don't look real. It's as though they are made out of icing. I really like your haiku.

I love the swirl/curl/share sounds. Very nice!

Your gorgeous poem is equal to the gorgeous photograph accompanying it! Another reason why I wish there was "aroma-posts" so I can smell poems as well. =)
