Poetry Friday: Spring's Laden Lilac

Spring's Laden Lilac

Scent spilling, bending;
intoxicating, laden,
curved fingers of hope.

Lovely poem and photo -- a nice fragrance to take into the weekend. :)

How beautiful, and it evokes memories for me of that scent, which is indeed intoxicating. I love the word "laden" here and how you show that lilacs are heavy with both flowers and scent.

Intoxicating! Love thinking of the fronds as fingers! A fresh image

I can just about smell them through my computer screen!

So pretty, both the poem and the flower!
