Poetry Friday: A Flowered Conjunction
A Flowered Conjunction
A universe of
bopping spheres and pulsed patterns
blasts into my own.
Lorie Ann Grover, 2014
I happened upon this flower early one morning in Phoenix. The color is not altered.
This is just to say that I have been here and read your words, but surgery on both thumbs last Tuesday prevents me from typing a personalized comment. Forgive me -- copy/paste is the best I can do this week! :-)
I love this, Lorie Ann-- both the photo and the haiku. Your universe metaphor is spot on and I love the vibrancy and electricity of that second line-- physics at play!

Wow, the colors in your photo vibrate and shimmer. Phrases like "bopping spheres" and "pulsed patterns" are perfect! Nice!

Wow! What a pairing! I agree with Violet, the phrases "bopping spheres" and "pulsed patterns" are absolutely perfect!
Oh wow. The truly lovely things around us that inspire the birth of words. :) Beautiful imagery and poem.
