A Cane of Distinction

How sweet is my beautiful friend? SO SWEET! She heard I was going to TLA...

and how I often end up needing a cane on extended trips. I was lamenting that my old standby just didn't have much personality. So, she special ordered this one from England for me from Fashionable Canes!

Frog-Ash Shaft

It is so cute! I LOVE IT! I'll be sporting it in Texas!

Here's a shout out to her, so thoughtful, generous, and supportive. Thank you! *do a little dance with a frog*

It makes me sad to think of you sometimes needing a cane, but so happy to know that you embrace this with elan, and that, indeed, you will turn heads for all the right reasons in Texas.

I wish you didn't need it, that's for certain, but I love the look of that froggie and I know he'll bring you smiles, if not luck. Be well and be strong. :)

Did you ever watch the TV series The Dead Zone? (It was based on the book, which I haven't read. It inspired a movie I didn't like very much, but I loved loved loved the TV show.) In any event, Johnny's cane was distinctive as well. For him, it was a lion. :)

Someone who gets it. Such a gift Carol gave in more ways then one. Love it.
