Poetry Friday: Patio Tea

Poetry Friday

Patio Tea

Ceramic pots
cradle tea leaves
and cup hot water
in their round bellies.

Rattan chairs
cradle friends
and cup woven stories
between their open arms.

Lovely images. Nothing like sharing a cuppa! Yesterday I was having tea with my son and wishing for a nice gluten free treat. Suddenly we heard a thump on the porch. The mailman delivered a box that had a big basket of gluten free food - sent from my brother. JOY!
