Natural disasters run in my family

In 1992, Hurricane Andrew took my folks' house in Miami. Totaled it.

Now for a SECOND TIME, a tree has fallen on my biological father's home in Georgia and split it in two! The second time his house has been smashed by a tree!

Our home sits at the foot of Mt. Rainier. I'm just wondering...

what about the puyallup river overflowing and taking your house for a swim? or the possibility of a tsunami?

i guess its a good thing em's getting into geology, maybe she can predict an eruption of rainier after you have a chance to move :) that provides SOME relief, doesnt it?

Weird; my mom and dad survived Andrew.

And their house wasn't totaled. But they were probably farther away from the center.
