Natural disasters run in my family
In 1992, Hurricane Andrew took my folks' house in Miami. Totaled it.
Now for a SECOND TIME, a tree has fallen on my biological father's home in Georgia and split it in two! The second time his house has been smashed by a tree!
Our home sits at the foot of Mt. Rainier. I'm just wondering...

what about the puyallup river overflowing and taking your house for a swim? or the possibility of a tsunami?
i guess its a good thing em's getting into geology, maybe she can predict an eruption of rainier after you have a chance to move :) that provides SOME relief, doesnt it?
Weird; my mom and dad survived Andrew.
And their house wasn't totaled. But they were probably farther away from the center.
Oh my goodness! Are the inhabitants all right?!
Eeek, did something happen today?
Natural Disasters...good name for a novel...
You are kidding, Maya! That is very strange!
Everyone is fine. Thanks!
Oh my goodness, Lorie Ann.
To lose a home must be so shattering. It must change the way you view the world.
